Dirler-Cadé, Saering Cuveé Cécile Grand Cru Riesling 2015, Alsace, France
Tasting Note: An aged Grand Cru Alsatian riesling with concentration, depth and a persistent finish.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, bosc pear, lychee, white nectarine and apple blossom.
On the palate the medium sweet, grand cru riesling has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a long finish.
There is midpalate complexity and a golden-fruit character that runs throughout the wine.
A perfect accompaniment to a meal with some spice.
Bottle Note: Our pink sandstone soils from the secondary Buntsandstein era impart an incomparable style and finesse to our wines. In order to respect and preserve their delicacy, we have practiced biodynamic culture since 1998. We plow all our vineyards to encourage deeper root systems. Their vitality is reinforced by biodynamic preparations and herbal tinctures of nettle, willow, meadowsweet and horsetail. The grapes are harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness which allows us to make wines of great concentration and salinity, marked by beautiful minerality and great elegance.
