Domaine de Roche Guillon, Fleurie 2017, Beaujolais, France

Tasting Note: A Fleurie that expresses the light, playful side of Beaujolais coupled with rich aromatics.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of cranberry, hibiscus, red cherry, strawberry and white blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Fleurie has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin.

There are some wisps of midpalate complexity even as the Beaujolais is mostly straightforward in taste profile.

Good weekday gamay.

Bottle Note: 100% Gamay.
