Domaine de Suremain, Château de Monthelie 2014, Burgundy, France
Tasting Note: A red Burgundy that reveals restrained red fruit in a soft style.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of strawberry, red cherry, hibiscus and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and medium tannin ultimately completing with a medium finish.
There is some midpalate complexity that would pair well with white meats.
