Domaine des Bèguinerie, Élègance Chinon Rosé 2018, Loire, France
Tasting Note: A Chinon rosé that presents fresh red fruit absent any of Chinon’s classic vegetal notes.
Medium-intensity salmon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of strawberry, pencil shavings, red cherry and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied rosé has medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose with hints of young cedar supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish with a slight note of lemon-citrus peel.
The wine is straightforward and uncomplicated with the cedar hints giving the wine added complexity.
Bottle Note: Cabernet Franc. Rosé still wine.
