Domaine Ehrhart, Saint-Rémy Hengst Riesling 2013, Alsace Grand Cru, France
Tasting Note: A Grand Cru riesling you’ll want to finish in one sitting.
Lemon yellow in color, this wine has a nose of lemon citrus, white grape and peach blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied riesling is soft in texture with lots of mid-palate complexity.
The wine is concentrated yet juicy with medium-plus acidity.
Tres enjoyable!
Bottle Note: The Domaine Ehrhart was founded in 1725 in the small village of Wettolsheim. Today, Philippe and Corinne Ehrhart manage 65 acres of vineyards.
