Domaine Garon, Les Triotes Cote Rotie 2016, Rhone, France

Tasting Note: A Cote Rotie that shows why Northern Rhone fruit is so prized and valued.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry compote, blackberry puree, bruised violet blossom, black cherry and bramble.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied syrah delivers flavors suggested on the nose completing with a black-fruit-infused, medium-plus finish.

The wine is slightly-velvety in texture with ripe, medium-plus tannin and medium acidity.

This Cote Rotie has notes of midpalate complexity that develop more as the wine opens in your glass.

Bottle Note: 100% Syrah.
