Tasting Note: A cabernet franc from Bourgueil that is done in a pleasing, appellation-characteristic style.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of red plum, pencil shavings, forest floor, red cherry, raspberry and hints of cedar.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied cabernet franc delivers medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose along with a tart, red-fruit under current.

The wine is medium in acidity and has slightly-grippy, medium tannin.

There is balance between the fruit and tannin structure.

A versatile accompaniment to many a meal.
