Domaine Jean Pascal et Fils, Les Riaux Bourgogne 2016, Burgundy, France
Tasting Note: A white Burgundy with the lightest touch of oak making it a treasure to enjoy.
Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of quince, vanilla and clove baking spice, pear drop and white-rose blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied chardonnay has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.
There is midpalate complexity and balance between the fruit and the baking spice.
A chardonnay to repeat.
