Domaine La Prébende, Beaujolais 2015, France
Tasting Note: This Beaujolais is the wiser, attractive older brother of the young, easy-drinking Beaujolais you’re used to drinking.
Medium-tending-towards-deep intensity ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of red plum, kirsch, strawberry and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied wine is concentrated, with velvety, medium-plus tannin and a silky mouthfeel with flavors suggested on the nose presented in a ripe, yet retrained style.
There is balance between the fruit and medium-plus acidity.
A cerebral Beaujolais with concentration, body and structure that stands above.
