Tasting Note: An aged Vouvray with development.

Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of golden apple, candied pear, marmalade and quince with hints of honeysuckle and blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Vouvray has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a lemon-zest-infused, medium finish.

There is concentration in the midpalate even as the chenin blanc lacks the complexity and elegance of the 2016 vintage.
