Tasting Note: A citrusy, lightly-oaked Côtes du Nuits-Villages with vibrant orchard fruit and zing.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, clove-and-vanilla baking spice, white peach, pineapple and lemon zest.

On the palate the dry, white Burgundy has medium-to-medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium-plus finish.

There is welcome complexity and layers of flavor.

A versatile chardonnay which I successfully paired with a savory crepe.
