Erewhon, Pinot Noir 2014, New Zealand

Tasting Note: A New Zealand pinot noir that with soft red fruit and some concentration.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of strawberry, blossom, black cherry and raspberry compote.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir delivers red-and-black fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-acidity.

The wine is smooth in texture displays balance between the fruit and ripe, medium tannin with some trace notes of midpalate concentration and complexity.
