Esporão, Colheita Bronco 2018, Vinho Regional Alentejano, Portugal
Tasting Note: A fulsome, Portuguese white blend brimming with lush tropical fruit.
Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, pronounced-intensity nose of orange-and-lemon citrus, green apple, white peach, green pear, gooseberry, pineapple and blossom.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied white blend has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a citrusy, medium-plus finish.
The wine is slightly creamy in texture with pleasing fruit notes running throughout the length of the taste.
A white blend that would be a welcome white wine during those cooler months of the year or when you’ve tired of drinking light-whites during the summer months.
Bottle Note: Herdade do Esporão, located near Reguengos de Monsaraz, maintains its boundaries unchanged since 1267. Our viticulture results in the production of high-quality grapes, without the use of chemical products that can prejudice soil quality and our own health. Innovative tulip shaped porous tanks, in our new “Lagares” winery, preserve the principal characteristics of the wines made from these vineyards. Since 1985, Esporão maintains its commitment to produce the finest wines that nature provides, in the most responsible and inspiring way possible. Wine from grapes grown at the Esporão estate. Partially aged in tulip shared tanks.
