Fernandez Gao, Amontillado Sherry, Andalucía, Spain, Wine Casual

Fernandez Gao, Amontillado Sherry, Andalucía, Spain

Tasting Note: An Amontillado Sherry with classic elements of the Sherry style that leans into being buttery.

Medium-intensity amber in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of brioche, bread dough, leather and toasted walnuts with hints of caramel.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Amontillado Sherry has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a slightly-buttery, medium-plus finish with notes of leather.

The wine is complex.

Drink now but can benefit from further age.

This Sherry is only available for enjoyment in the bodega’s restaurant.
