Fiorini, Becco Rosso Lambrusco Grasparosa di Castelvetro 2016, Emilia Romagna, Italy
Tasting Note: Lambruscos from Grasparosa tend to be fuller-bodied, concentrated and offer the most complexity of any Lambruscos available.
This powerful Lambrusco is no exception; it has ripped legs and hair on its chest. Deep-intensity purple in color, this aromatic wine has a nose of black cherry, blackberry, bramble, red currant and violet.
On the palate the off-dry, medium-plus bodied Lambrusco is concentrated with black fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity.
The wine is medium-plus in tannin with a creamy, plush texture.
A sparkler you could pair with steak, and many-a-grilled dish.
Yummy.
