Foris Vineyards, Pinot Noir 2019, Rogue Valley, Oregon
Tasting Note: A steal for the price point for an Oregon pinot noir.
Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, raspberry and strawberry with a hint of violet.
On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a long finish.
Because Foris has long-owned their estate since 1974, they can afford to offer their wines at a lower price point than the Oregon pinot noir market as a whole.
Don’t let the secret get out before you pick up a case.
Botte Note: Established in 1974, our estate vineyards are located in a pristine valley surrounded by Southern Oregon’s Siskiyou Mountains. Our Alpine environment defines our style, pure and vibrant. Respectful of its delicate personality, we craft soft, silky pinot noir. Handpicked grapes and a guiding touch in the cellar are hallmarks of this accessible pinot noir. Enjoy!
