Tasting Note: You can get Cru Beaujolais for 15 bucks.

Cru Beaujolais from Morgan is known to be the most structured gamay expression within Beaujolais.

Purple in color this wine has an aromatic nose of kirsch, flower blossom, strawberry, banana and bubble gum.

On the palate the dry, light-bodied Beaujolais echoes flavors suggested on the nose with the lightest touch of fruit – that is restrained yet present.

There are some traces of midpalate concentration at moments.

This cru Beaujolais is pleasant, but only slightly more structured than non-cru.
