Tasting Note: A Sherry to begin or finish a meal with, and if you’re lucky – both.

Medium-intensity brown in color, this wine has medium-plus-intensity aromas of almond, walnut, caramel, bread dough, brioche, dried apricot, toast, dried apple, nutmeg and lemon-citrus peel.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied Oloroso Sherry is creamy and mouth-coating in texture with rancio flavors suggested on the nose shining through with medium-plus flavor intensity and concentration.

The wine has a long finish with a tangy mid-palate and medium-plus acidity.

This bottle presents all the classic elements of a well-made Oloroso Sherry from a major producer that’s been around for more than 100 years and clearly knows what it’s doing.

Bottle Note: Mahogany color with a walnut aroma. On the palate, it is dry with pronounced nutty flavors that give way to a long, smooth finish. Alfonso is a great partner for game, light cheeses, nuts and pâte. Palomino 100%.
