Tasting Note: If you like dry sherry and you don’t know palo cortado, try this 12-year-old sherry especially if you are an amontillado or oloroso fan.

Medium-intensity brown in color, this wine has a pronounced, aromatic nose of caramel, dried fig, dried apple, brioche, toasted oak-barrel interior and toasted nuts.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sherry has a creamy texture with rancio, buttered flavors suggested on the nose in the lead.

Bottle Note: The elegance of a palo cortado at its best. Complex and intense with notes of dried fruits, vanilla and mature wood achieving a refined character. Slightly chilled this wine is the perfect accompaniment to red meats and game. Palomino 100%.
