Gonzalez Byass, Tio Pepe Dos Palmas Fino Sherry, Andalucía, Spain
Tasting Note: En Rama Sherry is a delight and this bottle is no exception.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of freshly-baked biscuit, raw-and-toasted almond mix, fresh butter and walnuts.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Fino Sherry has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose with a slightly-creamy texture ultimately completing with a medium-plus-to-long finish.
A bottle to enjoy when you’re happily going down the En Rama Sherry rabbit hole.

Bottle Note: Fino Dos Palmas. For almost two centuries Tio Pepe cellar masters have used the “Palma” chalk mark system in our bodega. Traditionally the Palmas mark was used on barrels to indicate wines of exceptional finesse and delicacy of aromas. The more Palmas on the barrel the greater the maturity of the wine. Fino Dos Palmas is a selection from just Tio Pepe casks, with extended aging under the flor through the traditional solera system. It is bottled without filtration and clarification. Enjoy slightly chilled. Bottling date: L 14/12/2021.
