Tasting Note: A Menetou-Salon that presents sauvignon blanc in a ripe, fruit-forward style.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, pineapple, wet rock, blossom, lemon zest and tangerine.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Menetou Salon has medium-plus-intensity, tropical-fruit flavors supported by medium acidity and finishing with a slightly-grapefruit-infused, medium-plus finish.

There is some midpalate complexity even as the wine is mostly straightforward in style.

While technically dry in style the ripe fruit would appeal to those at your dinner table who might have a penchant for whites leaning into off-dry.
