Herdade Da Malhadinha Nova, Monte da Peceguina 2015, Vinho Regional Alentejano Portugal
Tasting Note: A red blend from Portugal that reveals the concentrated fruit flavors that can be produced in this region and harnessed from the soil and sun.
Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black currant, red plum, black cherry, raspberry and violet.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied red blend is smooth in texture, with ripe, grippy, medium-plus tannin.
Red-and-black fruit aromas suggested on the nose continue to the palate with a mix of ripe fruit flavors and some herbal and floral notes.
There is balance between the fruit and tannin structure with streaks of flavor concentration throughout the length of the taste.
Bottle Note: Touriga Nacional (25%), Syrah (23%), Aragonez (22%), Alicante Bouschet (20%), Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).
