Tasting Note: An aged sparkling riesling that is bright, uplifting and filled with lively, green fruit.

Pale-intensity lemon in color with small, tight bubbles, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green apple, pear, lemon citrus and chalk with hints of brioche.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied sparkling riesling has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by high acidity and completing with a citrusy, medium finish.

There is midpalate complexity and a steely texture that make this sparkling wine perfect to serve as an aperitif.

Would work great with sushi or chicken schnitzel.

Bottle Note: Hand-picked grapes from steep blue slate slopes in the Mosel valley. Made in Germany with care and love by the Immich family. Traditional bottle fermentation, three years on the yeast riddling and disgorgement by hand. Disgorgement Date: September 24, 2018.
