Januik, Syrah 2014, Weinbau Vineyard, Wahluke Slope, Washington

Tasting Note: A syrah that is as comforting as a blanket on an early fall afternoon.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has nose of black plum, black currant, cedar and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied syrah is creamy in texture with ripe, medium-plus tannin and flavors suggested on the nose.

The wine is balanced with midpalate concentration completing with a medium-plus finish.

Bottle Note: Mike Januik, Proprietor and Winemaker.
