Tasting Note: A Morgon that presents the more serious side of Beaujolais coupled with attractive aromatics.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of bruised black cherry, red plum, red currant, strawberry and bramble with hints of blossom.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied Morgon has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and soft, medium tannin.

There are hints of midpalate complexity even as the wine is mostly straightforward in profile.

A middle-of-the-pack Morgon.
