Tasting Note: A pinot noir that is evocative of red fruit served in a velvet glove.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, multilayered nose of raspberry, sour cherry and apricot.

On the palate the dry, medium-minus-bodied pinot noir is soft in texture with a medium-minus tannin profile and tart, red, strawberry fruit that ultimately completes with a medium finish.

Bottle Note: “About the pinot noir, born in Burgundy, we created this wine like a perfume: with elegance and fruitiness in the Chalonnais, depth from the Côte d’Or. Within are red fruit aromas; raspberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants. I love the subtle spiciness of the mouth, its soft tannins and silky texture! It’s attractive and well-bred, but doesn’t take itself too seriously.” – Véronique Drouhin
