Jules Burdin, Beaujolais Villages 2018, France

Tasting Note: A reserved Beaujolais Villages with notes of concentration.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red plum, dried cherry, strawberry, hibiscus, fig and blossom with hints of cassis.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied Beaujolais Villages has medium-intensity, red-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and velvety, medium-plus tannin completing with a medium-finish.

The wine is mostly straightforward with pleasing depth that would be a welcome accompaniment to many a meal.

Bottle Note: Jules Burdin wines are produced from the best plots to reveal the diversity and personality of their terroir. Serve cool at 64°.
