Koyle Costa La Flor, Sauvignon Blanc 2021, San Antonio, Chile, Wine Casual

Koyle Costa La Flor, Sauvignon Blanc 2021, San Antonio, Chile

Tasting Note: A sauvignon blanc with lovely herbal notes that are the grape’s true old-world calling card.

Pale-intensity lemon-green in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of green apple, pear, freshly-cut grass and forest floor.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied sauvignon blanc has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-plus acidity and completing with a lemon-citrus-infused, medium-plus finish.

The midpalate is complex with good balance between the fruit and acidity.

Classic old-world-styled sauvignon blanc.

Bottle Note: The place of origin for this special wine is ancient granite coastal soil, spread across gentle rolling hills. The soil is poor in nutrients and high in minerals. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean provides the unique hallmark for this wine, catching saltiness from the sea and unique minerality from the land. Location: San Antonio, Chile. Grape Varieties: 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Enjoy with: Oysters, grilled fish, sushi & sashimi. Tasting Note: Starts with tangy freshness. Flavors of lemon peel, white peach & powdered ginger. Well balanced, mineral acidity. Ingredients: Organic grapes. Serve at: 45°F – 50°F.
