Tasting Note: A white-Burgundy-inspired chardonnay that aptly captures the modeled style.

Medium-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a nose of a light vanilla, green apple and clove baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied chardonnay is medium in acidity with medium-intensity fruit and oak.

The wine is 2/3 wooded and 1/3 stainless-steel aged.

Bottle Note: This wine is produced by the La Motte Private Cellar, historic landmark in the Franschhoek Valley, home to South Africa’s gourmet capital. The style reflects old-world traditions skillfully harmonized with new-world intensity. Made from whole-bunch pressed and fermented in 300-litre barrels, to create fruity varietal flavors with a subtle hint of wood. Excels in the company of delicacies from the sea.
