Tasting Note: This picpoul di pinet expresses the tart, dry, green fruit character of the picpoul blanc grape for which the area is known.

Lemon yellow in color this wine has a nose of ripe granny smith apple, pear and pineapple with some hints of lemon citrus.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied, picpoul blanc is slightly round in texture on the attack after which follows a subtle burst of medium-plus acidity that carries the flavors suggested on the nose through to the finish.

There are some minor petrol notes on the palate similar to what you encounter with Alsatian rieslings but the notes are only minor and do not register as a fault.

This is a zesty white wine, with notes of minerality that would pair quite well with seafood or white meat.
