Tasting Note: Willamette, Oregon pinot gris is under the radar, but offers so much quality for the value including this entry-level bottle.

Pale-intensity lemon in color, this wine has a medium-intensity nose of green pear, green apple, blossom and lemon zest.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot gris has medium-intensity, green-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.

The wine is straightforward and refreshing with some oily notes along the midpalate.

Perfect to serve with heavier vegetable and white-meat dishes.
