Tasting Note: Deep-intensity ruby-to-garnet in color, this wine has a nose of black cherry, black plum and rose petals.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus bodied merlot presents black fruit flavors with a soft texture and some clove baking spice that accentuates the tertiary-aging aromas.

There is some complexity, and the wine completes with a long finish.

Bottle Note: The Macari Family’s dedication to quality began with the cultivation of some of the finest soils on the North Fork of Long Island. The resulting wines have individuality, elegance, and character honor the Macari tradition of bringing excellence and a sense of celebration to the serving of food and wine.
