Tasting Note: The blackberry pie of zinfandels.

Purple in color, this zin has a nose of ripe black fruit including black plum, raspberry, and blackberry.

On the palate the wine is lighter styled and medium-bodied in character with light tannin.

Bottle Note: Due to adverse condition during bloom, the vine may fail to pollinate properly causing shatter. Loose open bunches with small berry sizes are the result. This is often ideal for wine making because with smaller and fewer berries to deal with the vine tends to concentrate flavors. Grower: Todd Williams. Harvested by: Jen, Riccardo, Michael.
