Tasting Note: A Beaujolais Nouveau done in a reserved, somewhat-muted, but yet still-fruity style.

The wine is not put through carbonic fermentation like the majority of Beaujolais Nouveau which often produces a bubble-gum-like flavor.

Medium-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of black plum, red cherry, red currant, raspberry and dry hay.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied gamay has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe medium-minus tannin.

The mostly straightforward wine has some hints of midpalate complexity as though it were made in pinot-noir-like style.
