Moët et Chandon, Impérial Brut, Champagne, France
Tasting Note: An elegant, nearly-bone-dry champagne.
Lemon in color, this wine has a nose of yeast, burnt toast and muted green fruit.
On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied champagne delivers flavors suggested on the nose along with more yeast and toast flavors.
Bubbles are tight and small.
This champagne used to be called “White Star,” but is now branded as “Impérial.”
Bottle Note: Vibrant, generous and alluring, the Moët Impérial style is distinguished by a bright fruitiness, an enticing palate and an elegant maturity.
