Tasting Note: Ruby in color, this wine has an intensely-aromatic nose that is an interesting mix of purple and red fruit including plum, sour red cherry, blueberry, blackberry and vanilla baking spice.

Of these aromas the blueberry and sour cherry stand out most.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied cabernet reveals red fruit while black fruit flavors, blueberry and cherry notes recede into the background.

There is some black fruit mixed in with oak spice in this mouth-drying wine that tends toward concentration.

Bottle Note: In one of the world’s most legendary grape growing regions, there’s a place affectionally called Oakville East. Formed by a landslide of volcanic core stones from the Vaca Mountains, this west facing hillside of the Oakville AVA is the perfect combination of soil, elevation, microclimate, and exposure. The result is rich and luscious fruit from the meticulously farmed Stern, Buselli, Harter and Saunders vineyards, all located on this storied hillside. We hope you enjoy drinking this elegant and stylish cabernet sauvignon as much as we enjoyed making it.
