Dancing Flame, Ojos del Salado Red Blend 2014, Central Valley, Chile
Tasting Note: A straightforward cabernet-backed red blend from Chile that is a steal for the consumer-favorable, price-to-value ratio.
Ruby in color, this wine has a nose of black fruit including blackberry, black plum, blueberry and mild vanilla baking spice.
On the palate the medium-bodied wine is black-fruit forward with sour red cherry on the finish.
South American red blends (Chile & Argentina) are the future.
