Panther Creek, Pinot Noir 2013, Schindler Vineyard, Eola Amity Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon

Tasting Note: A midweek pinot noir with a heady nose and gentle palate.

Medium-intensity ruby in color, this wine has a medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry puree, red currant, black plum, clove baking spice, blossom and black cherry.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir had medium-intensity, red-and-black-fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium-minus acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

There are some notes of midpalate complexity.

A good weekday pinot noir.

Bottle Note: Schindler Vineyard is an 18.5-acre vineyard facing southwest in the Eola Amity AVA, and sits at an elevation of 300 feet. The soils are well-drained and are derived from sedimentary bedrock, producing wines that are rich and seamless. 467 cases.
