Peirano Estate Vineyards, Heritage Collection Malbec 2014, Lodi, California
Tasting Note: A straightforward malbec.
This purple-to-ruby colored malbec has a nose of black fruit including black plum, vanilla and clove.
On the palate the dry red is tart on the attack through to the finish with accompanying flavors of raspberry.
Bottle Note: Pierano (Per-an-o) Estate Vineyards established in 1895, has grown superior grapes, utilizing many sustainable farming practices, for desirable wines continuously for over 100 years. For six generations, my family’s dedicated goal has been to nurture these noble vines to produce unique, consistent and distinctively balanced wines. The grapes for this wine were hand selected and harvested from our family estate located in the very heart of the Lodi appellation. We invite you to taste our wines and discover for yourself the legacy of Lodi; exceptional wine at truly affordable price.
