Tasting Note: A library collection wine that shows the ageability of Oregon pinot noir.

Medium-intensity ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of red cherry, strawberry, red currant and leather.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied pinot noir has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose support by medium acidity and completing with a gentle, medium-plus finish.

The wine has a complex midpalate with a supple texture.

Vines first planted 18 years ago integrate dark, rich fruit flavors and a pipe tobacco nose laced with mineral undertones expressing the deep volcanic soil.
