Tasting Note: A good, entry-level blaufränkisch with a hearty midpalate.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blueberry, rhubarb, black plum, black cherry, dried cherry, violet blossom and red currant.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied blaufränkisch has medium-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a medium finish.

The wine is straightforward and fruity.

Be sure to chill slightly before serving to bring out the acidity.
