Tasting Note: A red blend from Portugal with concentration and a treasure trove of ripe black fruit.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry puree, bramble, fig, violet and kirsch.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied red blend has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and slightly-grippy, medium-plus tannin.

The wine is velvety in texture with midpalate complexity and completes with a medium-plus finish.

An ideal wine to pair with red meats and smoky dishes.

Bottle Note: 60% Touriga Nacional, 20% Touriga Franca, 20% Tinta Roriz. 12 months in oak barrels. Delicious with coldcuts and cheeses. Decant before drinking.
