Review: White Horse Winery Farmhouse – A Modern, Boutique BNB in Wine Country

You’ve decided to go on a weekend winetasting trip in New Jersey, and you’re looking for a place to stay.

White Horse Winery Farmhouse is “the” place to stay if you can snag a room in this six-bedroom farmhouse.

White Horse Winery Farmhouse is a farmhouse in name only in as much it is a house located on a farm next to a winery.

In reality it’s a modern boutique BNB.

The farmhouse recently served as a headquarters for me and a group of five wine media who were visiting New Jersey to sample wines from the state’s top wineries.

It boasts an indoor fireplace, fully-stocked kitchen, outdoor fire pit, breakfast in the morning and generous outdoor seating for lounging on nice days.

We visited during the pandemic and took advantage of the outdoor seating.

During my visit, our hosts commissioned Chef David Murray of Denim BYOB to prepare a multi-course meal which we enjoyed on the back porch paired with White Horse Winery wines.

The meal was delicious and an ideal way to host wine-and-food enthusiasts.

I’d definitely recommend White Horse Winery Farmhouse as a place to enjoy a lazy weekend as couple, to rent out with friends/family, or even as a venue for a work retreat.

And with a winery tasting room located across the street, distraction is only but a few welcome steps away without you ever having to get behind a wheel.
