Tasting Note: Northern Rhône syrah is one of the truly great gifts to mankind, and this is one of those treats.

While the area is known for producing syrahs that aren’t as concentrated as other areas in the Northern Rhône – someone forgot to share that fact with the producer of this bottle.

Deep-intensity ruby in color this wine has an aromatic nose of raspberry, blackberry, black plum, leather, and vanilla baking spice.

On the palate the dry, full-bodied syrah expresses concentrated black fruit flavors suggested on the nose along with black-plum compote.

The wine is medium in acidity with mid-palate complexity that completes with a long, raspberry-fruit-infused finish.

A bottle to savor.
