Tasting Note: A straightforward cabernet franc with some mid-palate complexity.

Ruby in color, this wine has a nose of red fruit including strawberry and raspberry.

On the palate there is some medium acidity and roundness that completes with a medium finish.

Bottle Note: Sierra Ridge was established by the Bree family in 1989, and is situated along Ridge Road, south of Sutter Creek, in Amador County. Our ridge top location, it is ideal combination of rocky volcanic soil, and nearly perfect climate, provides the conditions necessary for growing the highest quality grapes, and producing the most flavorful wine. We make a variety of wines, some commonly recognized, and others found exclusively at Sierra Ridge. If you’re a taste pioneer and tend not to follow established trends, then come up to Sierra Ridge for some of Amador County’s most unique wine.
