Sosie, White Blend 2019, Rossi Ranch, Sonoma County, California
Tasting Note: A substantial, Roussanne-led white blend with all the seriousness you expect but with a playful side filled with orchard fruit.
Medium-intensity gold in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of pineapple, white peach, golden apple, orange zest and white blossom.
On the palate the dry, full-bodied white blend has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and completing with a golden-fruit-infused, medium-plus finish.
The wine has a complex midpalate with some notes of creaminess.
A robust white blend that would pair with more complex dishes as well as red meat.

So we employ an old world approach to winegrowing that favors restraint over ripeness, finesse over flamboyance. Our aim is to craft wines that show a kinship with France’s benchmark regions.
