Standing Stone Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon 2013, Finger Lakes, New York
Tasting Note: This purple-colored cabernet has an aromatic nose of black fruit including blackberry, black plum and black cherry.
There is also peach stone fruit and clove baking spice.
The wine is smooth and aromas on the nose continue to the palate with black fruit in the lead of the taste.
There is medium-plus acidity and silky tannin. A pleasing medium-bodied wine from the New York Finger Lakes that satisfies with fruit and spice.
Bottle Note: 10 Millennia ago, glaciers carved the Finger Lakes, creating soil ideally suited to growing grapes. Our site, on the east shore of Seneca Lake, captures the ideal elements of wind, water, soil and stone. We craft wines that are brilliant in their personality, with luscious flavors, aromas and textures. We dedicate our passion to wines with a solid foundation in the soil and the stone, expressed with elegant flavors in your class. We’re delighted to share our passion of wine making with you and your loved ones! Marti & Tom Macinski
