Tasting Note: A fun, fruity, sangria-like carignane filled with warm baking spices.

Deep-intensity purple in color, this wine has an aromatic nose of black cherry, red cherry, black plum and cinnamon baking spice.

On the palate the dry, medium-bodied carignane delivers flavors suggested on the nose with more Christmas baking spice.

The wine has ripe, medium tannin and a medium-plus finish.

Yummy and perfect for the holidays.

Bottle Note: Sunce is family winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County specializing in small artisan lots of vineyard designated varietal wine and classic blends. Bright red fruits led by Bing cherry mingle with chili spices tamed by floral qualities and earthy undertones. A medium body of fleshy red fruits gives way to a clean minerality that lingers through to the finish, leaving a surprisingly creamy fruit aftertaste. Pairs well with savory dishes, cleansing the palate between bites. Only 4 barrels made.
