Tasting Note: One doesn’t often get the pleasure of trying aged pinot noir from premium California vineyards like this bottle which will make you want to look for more.

Medium-intensity ruby in color with some garnet around the edges, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus intensity nose of red-cherry compote, black plum, raspberry jam, red currant and a hint of fig.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied pinot noir has medium-plus-intensity flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, well-integrated, medium tannin.

Eighteen years in the bottle has led to flawless flavor integration, a silky texture and some chalk on the medium-plus finish.

A bouquet of florals and elegance in your glass.

Bottle Note: Sunce is an artisan winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, specializing in vineyard designated varietal wines and classic blends. “To find eternity in a grain of sand or a drop of wine.” Only 16 barrels made.
