Tasting Note: An aged tannat from California that proves Uruguay doesn’t haven’t exclusive dominion on elegant versions of the grape varietal.

Deep-intensity ruby in color, this wine has an aromatic, medium-plus-intensity nose of raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, red cherry, blossom and raisin.

On the palate the dry, medium-plus-bodied tannat has medium-plus-intensity, red-and-black fruit flavors suggested on the nose supported by medium acidity and ripe, medium tannin.

The midpalate is supple with complex merged fruits that speak as a whole rather than their individual parts.

While all bottles don’t age well, this tannat proves why you should put some down to enjoy this arc.

Bottle Note: Sunce is an artisan winery located in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, specializing in vineyard-designated varietal wines and classic blends. “To find eternity in a grain of sand or a drop of wine.” Only 3 barrels made.
